Hardwax Oil is an essential element for preserving the beauty of your Board Broker’s floor. This environmentally friendly oil is used as a topcoat for newly installed factory oiled floors as well as unfinished floors, and can be re-applied periodically to breathe life back into the wood. It is also very effective in the restoration of most older wood floors. Available in Clear and White.
Directions
Boardbrokers applies Hardwax Oil during the creation of your Boardbrokers floors. However it is important that the floor received a coat of Boardbrokers Hardwax Oil immediately after installation and before the furniture is moved into place. Thereafter, we highly recommend periodic applications of Hardwax oil to maintain the look and durability of your Boardbrokers floor.
Usage: 1 litre for 12 to 20 m² per layer, depending on the porosity of the floor to be treated.
Board Brokers Hardwax Oil + Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Color must be stirred well before use, in order to obtain an optimal mixture of the waxes and pigments. Board Brokers Hardwax oils should be evenly applied with cloths or pads. You should always apply at least two layers the first time, e.g. 2 layers of Colorless, 2 layers of Color or 1 layer of Color and 1 layer of Colorless, etc.
Board Brokers Hardwax Oils have a drying time of 2 to 4 hours and an additional layer can be applied after 8 to 10 hours, at 20°C and a relative humidity of < 65%.
