Board Brokers Oil Treated Floor: Maintenance System

Floors treated with Board Brokers Hardwax Oil must be cleaned with the appropriate products in order to ensure optimal care and cleaning.To keep your Board Brokers floor looking as beautiful and natural looking as the day it was installed, we suggest the following maintenance program: Regular Cleaning: Low Traffic Floors Directions: Note: Floors that have been cleaned with Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Cleaner can be regularly treated with Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer without preparing the floor beforehand. Regular Cleaning: High Traffic Floors This soap solution can also be used as the final and sole treatment for wood floors such as pine/fir, oak, etc. (test first on tropical wood types).Board Brokers Wood Soap contains 5 - 15% anionogen surfactants and Perfumes. Do not use on varnished or painted floors. Directions: As a final treatment for soft wooden floors: Dilute 1 L in 10 L water. Apply this solution with a brush and thoroughly rub into the wood. Repeat until the floor is saturated. Note: Floors maintained with Board Brokers Wood Soap must always be cleaned first with Board Brokers Wood Soap Remover, before applying Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer Deep Cleaning Directions: Mix 1 L Board Brokers Wood Soap Remover in 10 L of cold water (Note: Using undiluted Board Brokers Wood Soap Remover decreases the efficacy of the product). Apply this self-acting alkaline solution with a microfiber cloth to the floor and leave to penetrate for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then scrub with a red pad. For heavily soiled floors and large surfaces, you can use a polishing machine with a black pad to clean. Then rinse with a microfiber cloth and clean water. We recommend using a wet vac. Do not leave any water behind on the wooden floor and never use too much water! Leave the floor to dry out thoroughly (at least 24 h) before treating again with Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer. Note: Floors maintained with Board Brokers Wood Soap must always be cleaned first with Board Brokers Wood Soap Remover, before applying Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer Step 2: Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer is a periodic Renewer made with renewable raw materials such as toughening Tung oil, linseed oil, modified soy derivates and iso-paraffin. This product is used for renewing the final layer of floors treated with Board Brokers Hardwax Oil. Depending on the traffic, this product can be used once or twice per year for instance. Directions: Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer is ready to use, it is slightly thixotropic and therefore easy to work with. The surface must be clean, dry and grease-free. Floors maintained with Board Brokers Wood Soap must always be cleaned with Board Brokers Wood Soap Remover first! Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer must be applied undiluted with a cotton cloth that does not shed fluff or an applicator. You should clean any equipment with Solvent. Do not mix Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer with water! Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer adds a new top layer to wooden floors treated with Board Brokers Hardwax Oil. To ensure an even result, apply a very thin layer. Avoid creating puddles. You can also apply topically to areas subject to traffic. Note: Floors that have been cleaned with Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Cleaner can be regularly treated with Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer without preparing the floor beforehand, but floors maintained with Board Brokers Wood Soap must always be cleaned first with Board Brokers Wood Soap Remover, before applying Board Brokers Hardwax Oil Renewer.
