Board Brokers maintains direct relationships with Mennonite and Amish communities throughout North America to provide the highest quality reclaimed products, including hardwood floors, stairs, and moulding, reclaimed wood beams, and reclaimed wood paneling or siding. No matter what reclaimed product you select, we are able to achieve your precise design needs with distinctive finishing touches, such as circular saw or vend saw markings, and fuming to match your ideal coloring.

Lead Time: Because of the added time and care it takes to locate, dismantle and hand finish each reclaimed wood product, all reclaimed wood orders come with an average lead time of 4-8 weeks.

Reclaimed Hardwood Products

Reclaimed Hardwood Floors: Through expert hand finishing, we transform what was once the siding, flooring, roofing, beams and rafters of an antique barn into one-of-a-kind distinctive reclaimed flooring to enrich your design space. Each of Board Brokers’ Reclaimed Hardwood floors is 100% custom and distinctly unique—no two floors are ever alike. Each reclaimed hardwood floor features distinct markings of the antique wood’s original tooling, and is characterized with an aged patina that can only be created by a partnership between Mother Nature and time.

Reclaimed Wood Beams: For added architectural detail, Board Brokers Reclaimed Wood Beams bring a remarkable rustic look to your design space. Our reclaimed beams can be incorporated into the structure of your home or commercial building, or can be added aesthetically to any room for an appealing ceiling design. These beams are 100% hand finished, which means we can match the exact look and feel of your Board Broker’s Reclaimed Hardwood Floors or Wood Paneling—or provide a dramatic contrasting look with a different shade.

Wood Paneling or Siding: Reclaimed from old barn siding, our Wood Paneling adds richness and warmth to your design space, while creating the perfect pairing for your Board Brokers Reclaimed Wood Floors. We hand craft custom our wood paneling with a variety of profile treatments, including single bead, double bead, feather and bead, and v-match, and can apply any finishing technique to achieve your desired look and feel. We also have the ability to create custom tabletops and furniture out of your preferred paneling species and finishing specifications.

Reclaimed Wood Grades

Character Grade
Ideal for rustic design settings, Character Grade reclaimed wood flooring adds the most amount of character to your design space, revealing the knots, nail holes, seasoned checks, worming, color variation, and prior use marks of the wood. Any or all of these characteristics will be found in this grade to varying degrees.

Select Grade
Select Grade reclaimed flooring features all the characteristics of Character Grade flooring, but with an overall cleaner look. Boards used in your Select Grade reclaimed wood floor are hand selected and milled to achieve smaller knots, fewer nail holes, light seasoned checks, minimal worming/beetle tracks and prior use marks.

Premium Grade
Perhaps the most challenging grade to achieve, Premium Grade reclaimed wood flooring provides the environmentally friendly aspects of reclaimed wood, while nearly eliminating the distinctive characteristics. A Premium Grade reclaimed wood floor will feature small, infrequent knots, little to no worming, little to no nail holes, and no seasoned checks.

Ordering a Reclaimed Wood Product Sample

Board Brokers provides all customers with a 100% handmade sample for each reclaimed wood quote. Our reclaimed wood samples cost $250 each plus shipping. But if you order reclaimed wood floors, reclaimed wood beams, or reclaimed wood paneling from Board Brokers we will deduct the cost of the samples from your final bill.

Our reclaimed wood samples take into consideration every detail or your finished product, such as species, color, edge specifications and finishing techniques. If we don’t achieve the look you desire with the sample we provide we will provide you additional samples at the original cost until we do.
