Hand Selected

A Board Brokers floor begins with the hand selection of each log, which we source directly from sustainable forests in France, Belgium, China and North America. Because of our long-standing relationships with our suppliers, we have exclusive access to the lumber and hand select only the finest boards, which are then shipped to our factories for expert milling, treatment, and finishing.
   

Hand Crafted

The beauty of Board Brokers floors is a direct result of pristine wood used and the expert artisans who craft them. All of our French White Oak floors are hand finished with French oil to create a true artistic design. Our craftsmen specialize in techniques that include wire brushing, hand pulled flame treatment, fuming, bleed work, rocking, and carbonization to create the distinctive looks of each of our collections. Additionally, each and every one of our custom products is 100% handmade, adding a personal touch to your finished product.
   

Industry Leading Specifications

The superiority of a Board Brokers floor is in the details. We are proud to offer some of the longest and widest boards on the market. All of our hardwood boards are between 6’ and 7’ standard length and 7”-9” standard width, and are available custom up to 12”x12’. Additionally, our engineered floors come with a standard 6mm top layer veneer, which is 50% thicker than the industry standard of 4mm.
   

Only the Best Materials & Construction

Only the highest quality materials are used in the creation of your Board Brokers floors, stairs, moulding, and maintenance products. Our French White Oak comes from historic forests in France and Belgium, which produce far superior logs to those sourced from Eastern Europe.

Our engineered floors are laminated to a high-quality birch base, never on inferior pine or poplar. All of our bamboo floors are hot glue pressed with an expandable, eco-friendly adhesive, and finished with 7 coats of aluminum oxide for an excellent protective finish. We only use hairy bamboo, which is one of the strongest bamboos on the market, with a sustainable 5-year growth cycle.

Eco-conscious Products for a Safe Tomorrow

We consciously select products that are low impact on our environment, allowing you to have a stunning floor and remain green at the same time. The adhesive systems we use to assemble our engineered wood and bamboo products all use state of the art adhesive systems that are strong, expand with temperature change, and resilient.  The component adhesive systems in all are all E-1 rated and CARB II compliant.

Our eco-friendly French oil products, are plant based and all natural. They have been specifically designed to help preserve the natural beauty and sheen of your Board Brokers floor without adverse effect to your health or the environment.
